Submission guideline

Only registered students can participate in this competition.

A parent (or legal guardian) should be a "paid" member of KSEA as of 2/23/2025.

Only hand-drawn work will be considered. Digital artwork will NOT be accepted.  

Each participant can submit one single artwork.

Artwork should be photographed and the image file should be submitted by TBD. The submission link will be emailed to the registered students. 

The image file should meet the following requirements. 

• File type recommended : jpg, bmp, png 

• File size : up to 10Mb

• Resolution : at least 1920 ✖ 1080

• Color image

• Digital retouching (e.g. photoshop) is not allowed.

Awarded artworks in the KSEA science art competition will be featured in a Camille World Virtual Gallery. This exhibit will feature art appreciation through an AI-powered docent service, which provides visitors with rich, artist-endorsed narratives and insights. To do that, we ask artists to share some insights about their artwork. Specifically, we're looking for thoughts on the inspiration behind the piece, the techniques and materials used, any thematic significance, and personal anecdotes or stories related to its creation. Your perspective is invaluable in crafting an authentic and immersive narrative for our visitors and helping them understand the artwork.

The students should not receive help from others (especially parents or teachers) with the drawing.

All submitted artwork must be the original work of the participant and must not include, be based on, infringe upon or be derived from any AI-generated work, any pre-existing or third-party artwork, trademarks, or copyrighted images. 

Artwork that has been submitted to other art contests cannot be submitted to this contest.

The submitted artwork may be used for various promotional activities of KSEA without prior notice to the student.
